A Bit About Me

I grew up in Singapore, studied in Washington, D.C., and now live in Los Angeles, CA.

I have experience in both production and post-production working on documentaries, unscripted TV, and branded content. I’ve contributed as an assistant editor on both short and feature-length documentaries, including Healing Waters (2023), Vanishing Seattle (2021), and The Mermaid Ward (Expected 2025). I also have on-set production assistant experience working on 90 Day Fiancé.

Beyond documentary work, I have created educational and marketing videos for nonprofit organizations such as the California Native Garden Foundation, the Global Collaboration on Traumatic Stress, Green Tukwila, and the Indonesian Cultural Association in Washington.

I bring a diverse range of experience outside of filmmaking, from working in the restaurant industry to spending a year in environmental restoration with EarthCorps, where I worked outdoors on trails and conservation projects. This hands-on experience in environmental work fuels my passion for environmental filmmaking.

This year, I am pursuing a passion project—a documentary titled The Merantau Myth—and will also be working on a short film in Singapore, Blush, with filmmaker Ana Chavez.

Videographer/Editor - Freelance. Managed pre-production, production, and post-production, overseeing concept development, shooting, editing, and final delivery. Created engaging visual narratives, ensuring clear storytelling and alignment with organizational messaging. Edited content using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects, optimizing projects for digital and social media distribution.

Assistant Editor - Kai Films. Organized and Synced 60+ hours of interviews and footage for a feature length documentary, Healing Waters (2023) and short documentary, Vanishing Seattle - Hardwicks (2021)

Production Assistant/ Assistant Editor - Fieldwork Film Company. Supported production for 8 courses of online educational content for UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. Transcribed, synced, and prepped video footage for editors and post-production workflows.
